I find it rude.
When I’m hanging out with someone and all they do is, constantly check their phone or always on their phone. I mean, what is that freaking important that you have to talk about. Why even hang out with me, when you rather talk to other people than me.

If I’m with friends that are close to me, people that I’m comfortable with, I tend to act immature and play around a lot. I’m not very close to a lot of people though, and I’m not good with opening up so quickly. So if you ever meet me for the first time, you’d probably think that I’m the most quiet person ever.
